Professional single-A baseball farm club for the Milwaukee Brewers. Their home is Appalachian Power Park, which can accommodate 4,500 fans, located just off exit 99, Capital St., on I-64.
Constructed from 65 tons of locally mined coal in 1933, this building houses the Tug Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Haddad Riverfront Park
This new park is home to a 2,000-seat amphitheater for entertainment along the Kanawha River, with boat docking space. Along with Daniel Boone Park, Haddad Park is the dual home for the PA Denny Sternwheeler.

Following the New River Gorge by rail, this popular all day trek departs Huntington, stops in the Charleston area, then travels to Hinton in the Allegheny Mountains, showcasing West Virginia's fall foliage at its best. Last two weekends in October. Also occasional excursions to The Greenbrier Hotel and other locations.

PA Denny Sternwheeler
Known for its annual participation in the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta, this genuine sternwheel cruise boat offers scenic dance, brunch, dinner and private party cruises along the Kanawha River from Haddad Riverfront and Daniel Boone Parks.

Site of the 1994 National Putt-Putt Championships, this sprawling complex has water fun with bumper boats, racing excitement with a mini-stock car race track, party and game rooms, and of course, three 18-hole putt-putt golf courses.
Once the heart of the city, this restored train station (c. 1890) has been transformed into a quaint Victorian style restaurant furnished in antiques and period decor.
